Easter weekend 19 - 20/04/19

Wanting to keep up our mountain climbing and with the weather forecast on our side, we headed to Ben Ledi on the outskirts of Callander, a Corbett at 879 metres.
We set off early as being a holiday weekend, the carpark would fill up soon.
A pretty easy path to follow with some steep sections. We had filled in our route card and used the map and compass to keep the navigation brain cells active.

Gaining height, beautiful views even in the sunny haze

Plenty other folk with the same idea

A change of pace on the Saturday, we headed out on the Big Yam and the Street Triple for a small tour of Glenisla and Glenshee. Stunning scenery and surprisingly quiet roads, all the caravaners must have thankfully been headed in another direction.
