5 Mountains and 1 big birthday part 2, Bone Caves 13/05/19

After our long Suilven walk the day before, on the Monday we opted for a shorter hike to visit the bone caves near Inchnadamph. This walk in the North West Geopark takes you up the limestone valley of the Allt nan Uamh burn to visit the caves, where the bones of bears, reindeer and wolves that once roamed this part of the country have been discovered.

The spring where the river exits from the rock, the water seems still but flows from underground

Looking out from inside one of the caves, just the bear necessities in here!
