As the sun was shining, and being in need of a decent stretch of the legs not too far from home, we headed to Craigower above Pitlochry, not the biggest hill at 407m but with great views on a clear day. Thankfully the limited car parking had a space for us. We headed uphill past the golf course then followed the icy path through the trees of Tay Forest Park. We came out the trees to the viewpoint and were amazed as we could see all the way to the Glencoe mountains. After a few photos and hot chocolate from the flask we continued the circular route down the forest track back to the car.
