After watching the Motorbike Show on TV last week, I was glad to see there was a distinct lack of motorcycle Yuppies attending, no Quinoa vans or trendy bars selling cocktails, this was a Scottish bike show after all, just normal goin aboot folk, some that looked like they had just fell off a flitting and eating at burger vans drinking wishy washy tea.
A couple of classics at the entrance to the classic bike hall
Cracking 550 Four
A red MV
Just for J.P
A beautiful piece of engineering
Almost art, must be a very talented engineer
Nortons galore
Standard CBX, very tidy
Would love to have a hoon around on this LC, sticky looking tyres :-)
A very varied bunch of classic bikes, British and Jap
Honda CB125, the same model I passed my test on, great wee bike until the big ends went at the Gilmerton corners, got it home thanks to Brother Gino
Kawasaki GPz900R, same model and colour as my first big bike, a fantastic bike, fast as hell and so much fun, until the big ends went at Dalwhinnie, hmm recurring theme here.
Spent ages talking to the owner of this bike about Kwackers and White Power, the shock absorber people from Sweden.
Beautiful zed, so much more presence than the new version
Braw looking Bee Em
Rudge, Rudge wink wink
Jake explaining the intricacies of the slide rule, maybe?
More Nortons
