Muthill River Earn walk 12/11/17

A change of direction for a walk this time, Muthill centre along Wardside through Sallyardoch Wood then exit down to Strageath Hall, through the muddy farm then follow the right side path of the old railway embankment, this takes you right down to the bend in the river where we stopped for refreshments then headed back the same way, this is part of a longer circular walk to Crieff and back, maybe some other time, pretty damn cold but the sun was shining and it was dry.

Sitka happy as always to be out for walks

The sun getting lower as were the temperatures

Old metal pillars for the long gone railway, part of the Crieff junction railway

Pillars getting put to use by anglers

The old steel taking on the Autumn colours beautifully

The last of the days sun lighting our path through the beautiful leaves

Shiny pylon and lines

A Medusa tree, well in my head it was

Muthill's ruined medieval church hanging on to the last of the days sun
