After spending Saturday in the garage servicing the XJR1300, a bit of fresh air and a leg stretch was needed. Practising our pacing and timing, we headed to Rumbling Bridge by Trochry to begin the walk through the hills to the top of Craig Obney Hill Fort and Trig Point, at 403.3m in height.
Craig Obney is the 6857th
highest peak in the British Isles and the 4674th tallest in Scotland. The wind was pretty extreme at the top so we didn't hang about too long. Stopping at the base of the hill sheltering for hot tea and food for the return. A 6.7 mile walk in total in perfect sunshine, a great way to round off the weekend.
